This is a graduate level course that prepares you for assessment in counseling. In this course you will learn about basic principles and applications in assessment. When finished you will have a grasp of interviewing skills and techniques to be used in school, career, and marriage and family counseling. You will have knowledge in the identification, evaluation and administration of assessment instruments. You will be familiar with the legal and ethical implications of assessment, especially with issues relating to diverse populations.
