Our educational programs prepare students for religious vocations as ministers, professionals, or laypersons in the categories of ministry, counseling, theology, education, administration, music, fine arts, media communications, or social work.

The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program at BSTU University is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to become successful business leaders. Through rigorous coursework and hands-on experience, our program will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the current business landscape as well as strategies and tools needed in today’s competitive environment. You’ll gain an appreciation for the ethical implications of decision-making and have the opportunity to explore best practices related to managing human capital, analysis of financial statements, leadership development, global economics, and data-driven decision making. BUS 630 – Management of Teams

This course gives an overview of the management of teams in a corporate environment. It covers topics such as team dynamics, leadership roles, motivation, communication, and conflict resolution. Additionally, this course will explore practical use-cases including managing virtual teams performing distributed activities and how to build effective teams that can achieve their goals faster.

By the end of this course, you will have acquired knowledge about managing and leading successful teams in any organization. You will be able to create high-performing teams with clear objectives that maximize productivity and minimize wasted effort. In addition, you will understand how to effectively manage diversity in the workplace and how to use data analytics tools to measure team performance.

BUS 815 – International Business

International business is a field of study that provides an overview of the global economy and how it influences different businesses. This course will provide students with an understanding of the concepts, theories and practices related to international business. It will also discuss the various strategies employed by organizations when dealing with global markets, as well as the ethical and legal considerations that accompany such operations. Students will gain insight into the complexities of international business and learn about topics such as sourcing, supply chain management, regional trade agreements, cultural differences, foreign exchange risk management, global marketing etc. In this course, students will be able to develop an appreciation for the various aspects involved in international businesses operations and how they can be best utilized by organizations in their pursuit of success.

BUS 830 – International Law

This course is designed to provide an overview of International Law and its application in different contexts. It will cover the fundamental concepts, principles, and legal implications of international law. The course will also examine various use cases and scenarios that apply to international law in today’s world. BUS 975 – Multinational Business

This course provides an overview of the intricacies and challenges of managing multinational businesses. It will cover topics such as international trade, culture and communication in a global environment, cross-border regulations, and global strategies for success. Students will gain an understanding of how to identify opportunities and manage risks in a multinational business context. They will also learn about the tools required to develop successful strategies for competing in a global market. LDR 501 – Leadership Theory

This course provides a comprehensive overview of the development and practice of leadership theory, including topics such as the history of leadership theory, different types of leadership styles, and how to apply those theories in a modern context. RES 502 – Research Methods

MNG 950 – Cultural Issues in Management

This course provides an overview of the cultural issues that impact organizations and their management. MNG 1100 – Strategic Management and Policy

Strategic Management and Policy is a comprehensive course that provides an in-depth examination of the strategies and policies employed by organizations. It covers various topics such as organizational structure, decision-making process, competitive analysis, resource allocation, and more. Through this course, students will learn how to develop and implement strategies that will enable their organizations to achieve competitive advantage in today’s competitive business environment. Students will also gain insight into the latest trends in strategic management and policy development so that they can make informed decisions for their organization’s future.

MNG 1201 – Human Resource Management Issues

Human Resource Management Issues course is designed to provide students with an understanding of how to effectively manage human resources in organizations. The course covers various topics related to HR management such as job analysis, recruitment and selection, compensation, benefits, training and development, labor relations and the legal environment of employment. It also includes an overview of current trends in the field. This course will help students develop their knowledge and skills needed to make sound decisions related to HR management issues.

MNG 1500 Doctoral Project

This course is designed to provide an overview of the process of completing a Doctoral Graduation Project. It will cover the research methods and approaches needed to conduct research, as well as provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to present and defend their thesis. By the end of this course, students should have an understanding of how to plan, execute, document, and submit a successful doctoral graduation project. Additionally, they should have a better understanding of how their research can be best utilized in the professional world.
