CSM 725: Ambulatory Case Management

This course focuses on the key role of the case manager in ambulatory medicine, and it includes the study of the insurance environment, legal and ethical issues, and consulting, credentialing, and future trends in the field. The key learning outcome of this course is a strong knowledge of the professional role of the case manager.

This is a master’s level course which prepares students for positions in hospital and clinic Case Management, Quality Improvement and Utilization Review. Excellent positions are also available in State and Federal government agencies and Medical Foundations.
