United Quality Management Institute

www.uqmi.orgThe UQMI is an international training and certification organization that consist of members from a variety of industries and diverse occupations that share a common interest in a balanced approach to continuous improvement. It was originally founded in 1998 under the name of the Lean Manufacturing Consortium. In 2009 it merged with another organization named the International Lean Association. In 2010, these two organizations were restructured under the name of The UNITED QUALITY MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE (UQMI).

The organization is structured under the direction of a President and Board of Directors. In addition, it offers members access to a core faculty group that is available to assist members that seek to prepare for certification.

Certifications are offered on a tier based, 3 level advancement program in the areas of Lean Manufacturing, Leadership, Six Sigma and Project Management. In addition, several elective preparatory courses and certifications are offered in the areas of Leadership & Interpersonal Skills, Safety, ISO and TRIZ.

  • Present a diploma or transcript from BSU recognizing satisfactory completion of an Associate Degree and transfer these credits to the UQMI to receive an exemption of any Level I core course.
  • Present a diploma or transcript from BSU recognizing satisfactory completion of a Bachelors Degree and transfer these credits to the UQMI to receive an exemption of any two Level I core courses.
  • Present a diploma or transcript from BSU recognizing satisfactory completion of a Masters Degree and transfer these credits to the UQMI to receive an exemption of all Level I core courses.
  • Present a diploma or transcript from BSU recognizing satisfactory completion of a Doctorate Degree and transfer these credits to the UQMI to receive an exemption of all Level II core courses.

BSTU offers 6 Ethereal Programs in Business and Grief only. Old programs have been discontinued. Our educational programs prepare students for religious vocations as ministers, professionals, or laypersons in the categories of ministry, counseling, theology, education, administration, music, fine arts, media communications, or social work.
