Course Curriculum

The online curriculum offers an innovative approach to higher education. Enrollment is open and students may begin the program at any time. All courses are provided in online classrooms, with one-to-one faculty mentoring. Students also have free access to our comprehensive Study Tactics and Resources Center, with links to subject related web sites, online libraries, articles and research assistance. Our online degree curriculum includes:

BUS 630 – Management of Teams

COURSE OVERVIEW: This course examines components that comprise teams, highlights key factors that influence team effectiveness, develops skills in diagnosing opportunities and threats that face teams, and enhances teamwork expertise. Team management is studied through reading and discussing cases, learning and implementing techniques to build and sustain teams, and completing a team project where you can apply the skills and knowledge you’ve learned to a real-world team.

BUS 815 – International Business

This is an exciting course, as it is your introduction to the study counseling and to give you the opportunity to begin to gain greater knowledge of mental health counseling in general with additional exposure to chemical dependency counseling because even if this is not your emphasis in this program you will find that many of your clients will have such problems. This course will provide you with a broad exposure to counseling in general and then in your chosen area of emphasis.

BUS 830 – International Law

COURSE OVERVIEW: This class will analyze international public law, rules binding the international conduct of states and nonstate actors. We will further investigate international law and the rights and duties of transnational organizations and individuals.

BUS 975 – Multinational Business

COURSE OVERVIEW: This class will investigate management of multinational firms and review the development or foreign operations and how companies can expand with success across international boundaries.

LDR 501 – Leadership Theory

COURSE OVERVIEW: This course is an overview of leadership and leadership theory as it pertains to businesses and organizations. It also touches on the following: the nature of managerial work, perspectives on effective leadership behavior, empowerment, management traits and skills, types of leadership, and trends in leadership for the future.

RES 502 – Research Methods

COURSE OVERVIEW: This class will provide an analysis of business problems and the use of scientific research as a problem-solving tool. This encompasses the understanding and application of appropriate research designs, research statistics, and the use of the computer for data analyses, and report writing and presentation.

MNG 950 – Cultural Issues in Management

COURSE OVERVIEW: This class will provide a comprehensive understanding of the issues involved in cultural issues in management. It will focus on the impact of culture at the level of the individual, the team and the organization; it will demonstrate how cultural factors influence behaviors in the workplace and will develop some of the skills needed to manage effectively in various situations.

MNG 1100 – Strategic Management and Policy

COURSE OVERVIEW: This class will examine the integration and knowledge from strategy and management in and apply new strategic management concepts, principles, frameworks and methodologies.

MNG 1201 – Human Resource Management Issues

COURSE OVERVIEW: This class will analyze management topics and issues including labor force trends, job analysis, employment legislation, selection, performance appraisal, compensation, training and development, workplace diversity issues, labor relations, employee rights and participation.

MNG 1500: Doctoral Project

Course Syllabus Overview
It is a capstone course in your studies for your doctoral program.

Total Hours: 62

TUITION: $550.00 per course ($650.00 per Doctoral Project course).

** There is also a one time $50.00 admission processing fee.

*** Students may register and pay for one course at a time.

Course Completion Times: Students are permitted 15 weeks to complete an online course. This may be extended with the permission of the instructor.

Online Degree Programs

Your welcome letter will provide full information regarding any needed submissions of transcripts, etc.

Be sure to type in the course and course number that you are registering for into the registration form.
  3. You may now make a payment for your course. We offer a secure online credit card server and accept all major credit cards.
  4. There is no charge and no obligation when completing and submitting an application.

Once we have received a tuition payment, your enrollment will be immediately processed. You will receive from us an E-mail titled ” New Student Notification” detailing your course or program, your instructor, instructor contact information, and full instructions for accessing your online classroom. You may begin your course or degree program immediately. We have open enrollment and you may start at any time.
